I am early in my journey in scar care after an accident (9 weeks ago) where my face was hurt badly. I started using the Scar Tape & Gel at the 7.5 week mark once the wounds had closed over, From my initial questions about the product Kelly was proactive and encouraging with her responses. Each time I reach out Kelly has been supporting me and offering tips to get the best use of the Scar Tape. I am continuing my use of the Tape and Gel as appropriate on a daily basis as directed and at this stage I can report that I am seeing some progress. With the tape on my face it is also easy to massage the scar tissue several times a day which is the advise the medical team have given me.

Recovering from skin lesion surgery I discovered Scarsies Silicone Scar Tape through a Facebook advert and decided to try it. Havent been using the tape for long but Im already seeing an improvement in the scar not being so bumpy and am very happy to continue using it 👍 The scar tape is very easy to use and I reuse 3 times (after washing the tape) each time.

This is my second purchase of the Scarsies silicone tape, and I’ve just added the gel to my order as well to use on days I workout, so I’m excited to give that a try. As someone in Australia, I originally came across Scarsies while researching scar care after arm surgery, and I’m so glad I did.
The tape has made a noticeable difference to my scar, which has become much softer and smoother with consistent use. I also love that it’s clear and discreet, making it easy to wear every day without it being obvious and it doesn’t unstick which is a huge plus to me.
After my first purchase, I decided to try another popular scar tape brand, but I honestly didn’t like it at all. The quality, comfort and results just weren’t comparable, so I quickly came back to Scarsies.

The tape doesn’t last more than 2 days. Tried washing as per instructions and it doesn’t want to stay on. Very expensive tape and hasn’t helped my scar.

Thanks so much for your feedback, and I’m really sorry to hear you’ve had trouble with the tape adhesion.
If the tape is only lasting around 2 days before lifting, there’s usually something environmental/application-wise affecting it (movement area, moisture, body products, etc.), as most customers are able to get multiple days of wear from each strip.
One thing I did want to check as well - are you using the silicone gel underneath the tape at all? Even once the gel feels dry, it can still leave a silicone layer on the skin which stops the tape from adhering properly. The tape works best applied directly onto completely clean, dry skin on its own 😊
Also just to reassure you, at only 7 weeks post-op your scar is still extremely early in the healing process, so it’s very normal not to see major changes yet, especially if you’ve only recently been able to start silicone therapy.

I’ve been using Scarsies daily for the past 3 months on my stretch marks and the improvement has honestly been incredible. The texture and colour of my stretch marks have faded so much, and my skin feels smoother and more confident again.
