Scarsies is the bomb! I had hip surgery two weeks ago and my scar is almost invisible after covering with scarsies tape once dressing came off and wound was closed.
We will be vacationing in Fiji in three weeks and I tried on my bikini and the scar is unnoticeable
I’m very happy and will continue to use until tape is gone (also gives a sense of security to wound even though it’s closed), then I will continue with the gel.

I have sensitive skin and I'm using this post op on my surgical scars. Also, I'm using this on strechmarks as I've recently had a baby.This product is lightweight and easy to apply. It goes on smoothly and is fragrance free. This doesn't irritate my skin and it's moisturizing. I'm very glad I found this gel! This is a great product to help smoothen your scars and a must try !

I am a trans man who about 6 months ago had top surgery which left me with two scars right across my chest , I had been using other silicone gels but felt they were either two heavy or filled with other ingredients which left the silicone not pure - I liked that this product was New Zealand made and 100% silicone so wanted to give it a try and it has been incredible, not only have my scars noticeably lightened in 6 weeks but they have flattened, the gel is very lightweight which allows it to dry quickly, non sticky which is great for when I apply in the morning and need to throw a shirt on and is completely see through it doesn’t leave a shine or residue at all.. I honestly couldn’t recommend this stuff enough- It has been exactly what my scar care needed

My scars are still quite fresh so I haven’t seen much progress yet with this product. But the texture of the cream is really nice , it actually takes longer than I expected to dry so I have been getting it on my clothes, it doesn’t appear to be staining them though which is good.
Sasha, thank you for this. Fresh scars do take a little longer to show visible change, so that's completely normal at this stage. On drying time - applying a very thin layer helps it dry faster, and giving it a minute or two before dressing usually prevents any transfer onto clothing. Glad to hear it's not staining in the meantime!

The gel is fantastic, I will purchase again for sure for my surgical scars over the tape which I can get for cheaper at chemist warehouse. This gel is fantastic though and outperforms the gels I’ve bought in store for my scars

Helped with raised scar, but red colour is still quite strong

Thank you for sharing this. Great to hear it's helped flatten the raised scar - redness can take a bit longer to settle, especially on scars this fresh at 3 months, so it's worth sticking with it a little longer to see the full result.

Ive just bought my second lot of gel in preparation of up coming skin surgery.

Thanks so much for your review and for giving Scarsies a try. At 7 weeks post-op, your scar is still very early in the healing process, so it’s completely normal for redness and colour to still be quite prominent at this stage.
Most people also only begin silicone scar care once the skin is fully healed and closed, so you’re likely still very early into the actual silicone therapy process itself 😊
Scar care is definitely more of a gradual process than an overnight one, and most people tend to see changes happen progressively over the following months with consistent use.
We really appreciate you sticking with it, and we genuinely hope you continue seeing improvement over time

I'm so glad I found Scarsies. I had a small cancer removed from my face and the surgeon did an amazing job to try hide it. But I saw it every time I looked in the mirror.

Ive been using the gel for a surgical scar near my eye that was slightly raised and bumpy.
Used daily, after only a few weeks, the scar has smoothed out, although the changes may not be visibly noticeable, to the touch it is greatly improved.
The gel is easy to apply and a little goes a long way, I've even used it as an eye treatment gel which feels great.
